While in town for a signing at The Book Dragon Shop, I was pleasantly surprised to stumble upon a small but impressively stocked used bookshop called Staunton Books, located in downtown Staunton, Virginia.

A variety of genres are well represented at Staunton Books, which operates through The Foundry Pop-ups, a shop collective that provides space for entrepreneurs (artisans, craftspeople, etc.) to test run their business ideas in a retail space.

Staunton Books initially opened in town in 2015 before transitioning into part of The Foundry’s pop-up shop co-op last year. Books are carefully curated and competitively priced at $6 or 3 for $15.
